December Players of the Month Announced
Congratulations to the Region 20 Players of the Month for December 2025. The Region recognized four student-athletes from four member institutions.
DI Women's Basketball
Ayca Kazak, Fr., G, Harford
Kazak scored in double digits in five of seven games in December, netting a career-high 22 against Howard to close out the month. She averaged 12 points per game on 31.6% shooting (35.7% from three-point range) with 4.6 rebounds and a pair of steals per game.
DI Men's Basketball
Dorell Little, So. G, Allegany
Little averaged a double-double with 15.8 points and 11.5 rebounds to lead Allegany to a 4-0 mark in December. He shot 58.5% from the floor while also dishing 2.5 assists per game. Little pulled down a season-high 15 rebounds to go with 21 points against Potomac State on December 8th then topped that with 17 boards and 13 points against DI Hagerstown two days later.
D2 Women's Basketball
Keashiana Murphy, So., G, CCBC Catonsville
Murphy averaged 18.5 points per game across four starts for the Cardinals, shooting 38.2% from the floor and 35.5% from three-point range. She scored in double figures in all four games in December, netting a career-high 25 with eight rebounds and four steals against Salem on December 15. Two days later she recorded a double-double with 21 point and 16 rebounds against Frederick.
D2 Men's Basketball
Ian Pascal, Fr., G, Montgomery College
Pascal was lights out in December, averaging almost a point per minute to lead the Raptors to a 4-1 mark. The rookie averaged 30.4 points per game on 59.8% shooting from the floor. Pascal hit 32 of 33 free throws (97%) after sinking 22 in a row to start the month. He had four 30+ point games, including a career-high night with 35 against Middlesex on December 20. Pascal pulled down 4.2 rebounds to go with three assists, and 2.4 steals per game in the month.
