DI Baseball
Frank Adamski, So., INF, Harford
Adamski hit .535 and slugged .907 in March with nine doubles, two triples, a home run, and 24 RBIs. He struck out just 3 times in 60 plate appearances and drew 17 walks. Adamski was 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts. In the field, he committed just 1 error in 42 total chances playing third base and second base.
DII Baseball
Billy Clay, Fr., INF, Chesapeake
Clay hit .420 with 25 RBI and 25 runs scored in March. The freshman infielder slugged .696 with 15 extra base hits including 13 doubles and a pair of home runs. He drew nine walks and stole 19 of 21 bases. Clay had 12 hits and 11 RBIs in a six-game hit streak in mid-March, when he hammered out five doubles and two home runs.
DI Softball
Anna Sexton, So., P/INF/OF, Harford
Sexton dominated at the plate and in the circle during March. In 18 games, she hit .410 and slugged .590 with five doubles, two home runs and 13 RBIs while striking out just twice in 61 plate appearances. In the circle, she was 5-1 with a 3.24 ERA in 10 games including six complete-game efforts. Sexton struck out 45 and walked 13 in 45.1 innings pitched.
DII Softball
Chloe Griese, So., P, Potomac State
Griese struck out 99 batters in 17 games in March, recording a 16-1 record. She broke the Potomac State career strikeout record on March 30 with her 320th career K. Griese faced 319 batters and allowed just nine unearned runs on 35 hits. She ranks fourth in the NJCAA in overall ERA (0.99).
Men's Lacrosse
Liam Forsyth, A/M, So., Harford
Forsyth scored 32 goals and had 38 points to help lead the No. 1 Fighting Owls to a 5-0 start to the season. His month was highlighted by a 7-goal, 2-assist performance on March 15 vs. then-ranked No. 4 Genesee. The sophomore is currently tied for the most goals in the NJCAA (38) and has done so in six fewer games than the player with whom he is tied.
Men's Outdoor Track & Field
Emmanuel Okokon, Fr., CCBC Essex
Okokon set PRs in the 100m (11.28s), long jump (6.58m), and triple jump (13.28m) in his first collegiate meet, clocking one of the top-100 fastest times in the NJCAA Division I 100m this season. In his second meet, Okokon also ran a leg of the Knights' 4x100m where the team finished with a time of 44.19s, the 18th-fastest time in NJCAA DI this season.
Men's Tennis
Unai Llerena Perez, So., Harford
Llerena Perez was strong across the singles lineup and posted a winning record in the top doubles spot for the Fighting Owls all against NCAA competition in March. Llerena Perez went 6-2 in singles and 4-3 in doubles.
Women's Tennis
Daniela Aguilar, So., Harford
Aguilar went 4-1 at first singles during March all against NCAA competition. Three of her four wins came in straight sets. Aguilar's only loss was in a third set tiebreaker at NCAA Division I Morgan State.
